AAU Ice Hockey and the ORHL are set to return to Ontario, Canada for the 2019 AAU North American Championships- London Light the Lamp Tournament on February 28.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The AAU and Ontario Rep Hockey League are set to return to London, Ontario for the 2019 AAU North American Championship – London Light the Lamp tournament. Approximately 780 players, 52 teams, are poised to take the ice in the three-day tournament.

Games are slated for an 8:45 a.m. start on Friday, February 28, with each team guaranteed two games on Friday and two games on Saturday, February 29. Finals will follow on championship Sunday, March 1. There will be five different divisions- Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget, ranging from 7 years old to 18.

Athletes from around the globe will journey to the AAU North American Championships. Competing teams hail from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Ontario Canada, as well as the far reaches of Slovakia and Serbia.

You won’t want to miss the Cube Devolvement Team and the efforts of Coach Thomas Creale. The Cube Team is based out of Chicago, Illinois, but boasts members from four different countries- America, Canada, Slovakia and Serbia. These players have had the opportunity to compete around the globe and share the mission of the AAU, ‘Sports for All, Forever,’ through the game of hockey.
