ORLANDO, Fla- The AAU World Championships have wrapped up and thousands of ballers have showed out during their time on the big stage. With almost 11,300 athletes competing in this years World’s, it has made it our largest World Championships yet. Not to mention, one of our most competitive tournments as many championship games came down to the wire.

The event was split into seven different venues across the nation. Most boys’ teams had their time in either Orlando, Florida or Hampton, Virginia. The majority of the girl’s tournament was held in West Chester, Ohio for grades 2nd through 8th. Over 170 teams were awarded this year with trophies given out to our first, second, and third place teams. In addition to trophies, the national champions were given AAU World Championship bags.

The AAU would like to thank everyone who competed for another great year. With our 750 teams between boys and girls, the World Championships couldn’t have succeeded without you.
