Races and field events took place all under one roof. Some teams and athletes stood above the rest by the time the event came to a close.  Ginn Elite Track took home gold in three age groups for the 4x200 relay race, as well as one gold in the boys 14-year-old 4x400 relay. The Michigan Mustangs Tc also won gold in three different girls’ relay races. Ezekiel Mealy, with ATP Elite, finished with the fastest sprint in the 60-meter sprint. The 14-year-old finished with a 7.33 60-meter run. Kamryn Tatum, with the Michigan Mustangs Tc, was the fastest on the girls’ side of the race. She finished with a 7.73 second 60-meter.

Athletes from all over the country will travel to Virginia Beach Sports Center on March 3-5. Records will be broken and AAU National Champions will be crowned to end the season.

This was the eighth (8th) year for the 14 & Under Indoor National Championships in Michigan. The event continues to grow in popularity and give athletes under the high school aged divisions an opportunity to compete on bigger stages before the 2023 Indoor National Championships. Thank you to everyone who competed safely over the weekend, and congratulations to all of our winners. We can’t wait to see you all in Virginia Beach with more gold on the line.
